Since the end of the 1940s, the situation of contemporary music, dominated by the relativity of conceptions, has no specific direction. The courses and workshops therefore propose a brief overview of the different musical expressions of our times, through works that offer a basis for reflection. It seemed interesting, however, for this year’s edition, to address a particular movement from the beginning of the 20th century: Italian musical futurism and some of its consequences (course 4); courses that can be followed by a discussion and/or various individual contributions.

Introduction to tango music, how to incorporate this language in the dance.
“Should I dance to the music of the violin, or to the rhythm of the piano”?
The tanda starts: what is this orchestra, its style, how and who should I dance with? What is it about this music that moves me, how should I dance to it? ”
… just some examples of questions we will try to answer together.

It is open to all, at all levels, musicians and non-musicians. No need to speak Spanish. No need to come as a couple.

This course is intended for individuals already familiar with conducting or who intend to conduct a choir, a small group of friends or any group of persons interested in singing. It is also intended for accompanying pianists, for example running partial rehearsals.
During the course, we discuss the various aspects related to techniques of conducting, interpretation, teaching and voice technique. We also study musical scores, in particular aiming to make them more accessible to people without a musical background.
Personal questions are welcome, and participants can also bring the scores that they are working on with their respective choirs, to make the learning process more concrete.
